New term: Glass Cliff

A glass cliff is the phenomenon of women being more likely to be hired as CEO at struggling companies.

It all took a turn this week when a McKinsey partner got into an online dispute with a book author about the challenges women face in business. He went viral.  His LinkedIn comments have been deleted. Ultimately he was stripped of his leadership position while retaining his partner status. @bloombergbusiness
