Texas’ HB 2337 proxy advisor bill

Is there a link between the new Texas Stock Exchange and HB 2337? HB 2337 seeks  to place limitations on proxy advisors.

A letter from Glass Lewis explains that the bill is too broad and will take in more than just proxy advisor firms. The letter also raises concerns about the bill requiring the Texas Attorney General to be copied on investment advice to clients.
