Sports betting terms to know

Professional athlete gambling accusations have brought to light new sports betting terms to know. Meet microbets and prop bets. 

A prop bet is “A wager on an event or player performance not directly tied to the game’s outcome.” A micro bet is “a subset of proposition bets. They can be resolved within seconds and are tied to live game action. Examples include whether the next basket will be for two points or for three.”
