November ballot: property tax reform

Florida’s Governor wants Floridians to vote on meaningful property tax reform in November 2026. HJR 203 would increase the homestead by $100,000 over the next decade, with a full exemption for non-school taxes in 2037. 

60% of Florida voters need to approve the measure for it to be effective.
