There will be an estimated 40% decline in international students in U.S. higher education institutions starting this fall semester. The decline is tied to slow VISAs, and federal policy changes. It is estimated that the decline will have an overall economic impact of $7 billion to the U.S. economy.
The UK is expected to gain the students that the U.S. is losing. Our loss will be the U.K.’s win.
