Data: Campaign coffers post-Citizens United

Americans for Tax Fairness data shows the exponential increase in campaign contributions after the Supreme Court decision in Citizens United. In 2008 the wealthiest Americans contributed about $16 M to campaigns. By 2016 they contributed $628 M to campaigns, and in 2024 the total was $2.4 billion. @perfectunion
