Anatomy of a “political violence” bill

A bill to increase penalties for “political violence” has been introduced in Ohio. The bill would elevate politically motivated murder to aggravated murder. It would apply to elected officials, their staff, journalists, and activists peacefully exercising their 1st amendment rights. HB 457
