Texas farmers talk water planning

Hidalgo County farmer Brian Jones told Texas House Natural Resources Committee that “The major strategy in almost every region to address agricultural water use is conservation—not new infrastructure projects or sources of supply.”

He also referred to the water used by agriculture as “the leftovers.”
