Ownership of AI generated material?

A court case in California is exploring a new issue that will make its way to legislatures: “whether prompts to a chatbot can be considered artistic expression?”

In 2025, the U.S. Copyright Office said AI work can be copyrighted but would be considered on a case by case basis for authorship. @NPR
