2017 Congressional spending by tech companies:

  • Google spent $18 million (up from $15.4 million)
  • Facebook spent $11.6 million (up from $8.7 million)
  • Twitter  spent $561,000  (down from $680,000) 
  • Amazon spent $12.8 million  ( up from  $11 million)
  • Apple spent $7.1 million (up from $4.6 million)
  •  Netflix spent  $800,000 (same amount from 2016)
  • NCTA – The Internet & Television Association: $12.8 million  (down from $13.3 million)
